We believe in what we call green creation. We recycle at all stages of the project, including the procurement of materials. At the end we try to pass as much away for other projects and carefully recycle the rest.
We select, design, write scripts, and direct works fully together as a collective.
We are an ensemble and implement shared leadership, horizontal hierarchy and transparency. We make decisions democratically.
We are transparent about our activities to the artists we hire and to our production partners.
We portray ourselves as an ensemble. Meetings and interviews are preferred to have us all but any one of us four by themselves can represent us as an ensemble.
We strive to create working conditions that are safe, encouraging, flexible and humane for everyone. Having fun is always possible, even if you work to the fullest.
Synergy rather than separation. Sharing rather than ownership.
The work of 00100ENSEMBLE produces a living for its creators in one way or another for the duration of each specific project. The amount of work is proportional to the salary, this ratio is determined by the working group.
We strive for large accessibility when thinking ticket pricing. 5% of the tickets for our shows must be particularly cheap or free.
We always strive for the most diverse cast as possible. As we cast and plan performances, we challenge ourselves to think about diversity at all levels.
We make immersive art for everyone, not just people in the art scene. We want to dismantle and rewrite the definition of mainstream, expand its understanding of art that can belong to everyone, and incorporate the art we make into it. We work to provide an opportunity for new narratives to appear in mainstream and to become part of the new normal.
Our work and presentations take place in a safe space, if possible we apply the rules of a *brave space to the situations with discussions and consent with everyone involved.
*A safe space is ideally one that doesn’t incite judgment based on identity or experience - where the expression of both can exist and be affirmed without fear of repercussion and without the pressure to educate. While learning may occur in these spaces, the ultimate goal is to provide support.
A brave space encourages dialogue. Recognizing difference and holding each person accountable to do the
work of sharing experiences and coming to new understandings - a feat that’s often hard, and typically uncomfortable.https://alternativebreaks.org/safe-or-brave-spaces/
