Salakino: Eyes wide shut

Secret societies, the streets at night of a big city and unexpected encounters. 00100ENSEMBLE's first SALAKINO work was in collaboration with Helsinki Festival and Kulttuuritehdas Korjaamo. The 360-degree experience spread throughout Bio Rex’s premises and took the viewer directly into the world of this cult classic film. The show was a combination of theater, dance and live music. The staged spaces, corridors and back rooms allowed for full immersion into the films events. The viewer could spend the evening in a dim jazz bar or following the stories of characters familiar from the movie through several spaces. Perhaps you were selected leadin down the stairs to the secret back rooms or to a small circuit meetings with the upper class. The evening combined a masquerade, dramaturgical storytelling, champagne at the bar and performances inside the performance. The evening culminated with a joint cinematic experience in one of Helsinki's most historic cinemas. The more you dare, the more you see.
